The Irish Restaurant Awards 2009
The Irish Restaurant Awards 2009 sponsored by Santa Rita / Life Magazine took place in the Burlington Hotel Dublin on Wednesday 13th May. Neven Maguire cleared the boards, scooping the coveted All Ireland Best Chef and Best Celebrity Chef Awards. Nominations for the awards were made by readers of the Sunday Independent Life Magazine, members of the Restaurants Association of Ireland and the Irish Restaurant Awards Academy. The evening awards ceremony was hosted by Brendan O'Connor, and attended by 500 industry peers.
